In April 2024, the Biden administration finalized new regulations for Title IX. The final regulations include expanded protections against discrimination based on sex stereotypes, sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics. The regulations have been challenged in court, and presently, 26 states are under injunctions preventing the adoption of the new rules. This webinar featured Scott Goldschmidt, who provided an overview of the new Title IX regulations, the legal challenges, and the future outlook on the impact of the regulations.
